Heather Tanner, Professional Makeup Artist & Owner

Heather Tanner is a Professional Makeup Artist and owner of Fabulous Inspirations Hair Salon & Makeup Studio. She was born and raised in Gainesville, GA where she graduated from Gainesville High School in 1995. After high school, she attended the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA where she received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Special Education in May 2000. She later went on to graduate school at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona where she received a Masters Degree in Special Education in December 2006.
Heather has had a love and passion for makeup and making people feel and look beautiful for the past 15 years. While attending college, she hosted many makeovers parties and applied makeup applications for friends on special occasions and events. This passion inspired her in 2001 to become an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. As a beauty consultant, Heather expressed her love for makeup by hosting makeover parties, selling making products, and offering one-on-one makeup lessons to her clients. However, in January 2008 through prayer Heather launched her own business as a professional makeup artist, naming it “Fabulous Faces by Heather”. As a free lance makeup artist, Heather has continued this love and passion for makeup by doing makeovers for brides and their wedding parties, applying makeup applications for client photo shoots and providing makeovers for special occasions.

Now as a professional makeup artist, Heather continues to keep updated with the trends and fashions of makeup by taking numerous makeup training classes from Celebrity Makeup Artist yearly and as a result she became a certified Airbrush Makeup Artist in February 2008. Heather has also shared her makeup expertise by speaking at Beauty Schools, Youth Conferences, and applying makeup applications for area fashion shows.

Heather’s vision is to make every client she serves to feel and look FABULOUS from the inside out and her motto is “Beauty is a framework of art, so why not enhance it with a makeup brush!”

Heather enjoys mentoring young teenage girls, working with students with special needs and volunteering at her church. Heather’s words of encouragement she would like to share with others can be found in the Holy Bible Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”!
