Kristi Tanner

Kristi Tanner is a Master Hair Stylist/Cosmetology and owner of Fabulous Inspirations Hair Salon & Makeup Studio.  She is a graduate of DeVry University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Information System in 2000 and she attended Keller Graduate School of Management to obtain a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.  She worked in Corporate America as an IT Project Manager for 15 years before leaving to pursue her dreams of being a Salon Owner and Master Cosmetologist.  While working full-time in Corporate America, she attended Empire Beauty School in Atlanta, Georgia where received a certificate of Diploma in Cosmetology in 2008.

Her passion for doing hair started at the age of 12, in which she used her mother’s kitchen to do hair. She jokes and loves to call herself a “kitchen-tician” (beautician) because that’s where her passion began.

Now, with more than 20 years of experience in the beauty industry she has been exposed to and serviced a plethora of clientele. Her love for doing hair led her to take her skills to another level, so in 2011 she became a Certified Educator & Colorist for CHI/Faurouk Systems. As a CHI Educator, she educates other professional stylist using CHI color line, products & CHI tools. In 2010, she joined the advisory board for Empire Beauty Schools where she provides advice & education to cosmetology students.

Kristi has also had the privilege to work alongside some of the industry’s top beauty professionals and celebrities.  In which she currently serves as one of the Professional Hairstylist for a major natural hair care product line. As well as works with some of the beauty industries top photographers.

She believes being a hairstylist allows her to connect with women not only on a physical level but on an emotional & spiritual level that will inspire, uplift and motivate them one visit at a time! Kristi loves being a hairstylist and her motto is “When you love what you do it will never feel like work again”.
