Heather Tanner is a Certified Professional Makeup Artist and owner of Fabulous Inspirations Hair Salon & Makeup Studio. She is a graduate of the University of West Georgia where she received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Special Education in 2000 and a graduate of Grand Canyon University where she received a Masters Degree in Special Education in 2006. Heather is a proud former Special Education Teacher, in which she taught school for 15 years and later left the education field in 2015 to pursue her dreams of running her salon & makeup artist business full-time.

Heather has had a love and passion for makeup and making people feel and look beautiful for the past 20 years. This passion inspired her in 2001 to become an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. As a beauty consultant, she expressed her love for makeup by hosting makeover parties, selling makeup products, and offering one-on-one makeup lessons to her clients. However, in 2008 Heather launched her own business as a freelance professional makeup artist, naming it “Fabulous Faces by Heather”. These passions then lead her to take her makeup skills to another level, so in 2013 she became a Certified Professional Makeup Artist through the Gwynnis Mosby Makeup Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.

Now as a freelance makeup artist, she continues to express her passion for makeup by doing makeovers for brides and their wedding parties, working alongside some of the industry’s top photographers to apply makeup applications for clients at photo shoots, working on commercial shoots/TV film sets to apply makeup applications for actors/actresses and providing makeovers for special occasion events. She has also shared her makeup expertise by speaking at Beauty Schools, Women Conferences, Seminars, and Hair & Makeup Shows. Heather has also had the privilege to work alongside some of the industry’s top beauty professionals and celebrities. In which, she currently serves as one of the key makeup artist for a major hair care product line.

Heather’s vision is to make every client she serves to feel and look FABULOUS from the inside out and her motto is “Beauty is a framework of art, so why not enhance it what a makeup brush & Be your own Kind of Beautiful”.
